Dr Allen gained her undergraduate degree in Dentistry from the University of Adelaide in 1984. She pursued further studies in a Master of Dental Surgery, specialising in Orthodontics, also at the University of Adelaide, which was completed in 1993. Today she has over thirty years of experience caring for her patients orthodontic needs, delivering the highest professional standards, principles and skills. She is committed to advising her patients honestly, accurately and transparently at all times. In addition to operating her own practice since 1996, Dr Allen has contributed to a range of areas within the orthodontic profession including teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students at The University of Adelaide. She is also an active member of the Australian Dental Association as well as the Australian Society of Orthodontists, remaining up to date with the latest developments and advances in both her specialty and general dentistry.
Dr Prash Sooriakumaran graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Manchester. He moved to Australia in 2002 where he worked for many years in private practice in Perth and served for 5 years as country councillor for the ADAWA. Prash was an undergraduate clinical demonstrator at UWA in operative dentistry and was an examiner for the BDS finals examinations. He completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics at the University of Adelaide as well as successfully completing examinations to attain membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Prash is now settled in the southern foothills of Adelaide with his wife and six-month old son. When not changing nappies he can be found in private practice at Unley Orthodontics, lecturing at the University of Adelaide and as a clinical tutor to postgraduate students in the specialty of Orthodontics at the Adelaide Dental Hospital.
