Unley Orthodontics

Dr Prash Sooriakumaran graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Manchester. He moved to Australia in 2002 where he worked for many years in private practice in Perth and served for 5 years as country councillor for the ADAWA. Prash was an undergraduate clinical demonstrator at UWA in operative dentistry and was an examiner for the BDS finals examinations.

He completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics at the University of Adelaide as well as successfully completing examinations to attain membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Prash is now settled in the southern foothills of Adelaide with his wife and six-month old son. When not changing nappies he can be found in private practice at Unley Orthodontics, lecturing at the University of Adelaide and as a clinical tutor to postgraduate students in the specialty of Orthodontics at the Adelaide Dental Hospital.

Dr Sven Jensen grew up in the Adelaide Hills. He completed his dental degree at the University of Adelaide and spent time in government and private practice in Tasmania before he returned to Adelaide to complete specialist orthodontic training. Sven has just returned from Canada where he completed a fellowship in Craniofacial and Special Care Orthodontics at the University of Toronto and the Hospital for Sick Children across 2019-2020. Dr Jensen enjoys looking after children with craniofacial conditions such as cleft lip and palate, Crouzon, Apert and Treacher Collins syndromes. Sven also takes pride in spending a little more time to see those with autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome.
