Sooriakumaran is an AHPRA registered
specialist orthodontist and ASO member
Dr Prash Sooriakumaran graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Manchester. He moved to Australia in 2002 where he worked for many years in private practice in Perth and served for 5 years as country councillor for the ADAWA. Prash was an undergraduate clinical demonstrator at UWA in operative dentistry and was an examiner for the BDS finals examinations.
He completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics at the University of Adelaide as well as successfully completing examinations to attain membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Prash is now settled in the southern foothills of Adelaide with his wife and six-month old son. When not changing nappies he can be found in private practice at Unley Orthodontics, lecturing at the University of Adelaide and as a clinical tutor to postgraduate students in the specialty of Orthodontics at the Adelaide Dental Hospital.
