Staples is an AHPRA registered
specialist orthodontist and ASO member
Dr Glenn Staples studied dentistry at the University of Queensland graduating with honours and the Mary Moffett Memorial Prize for Orthodontics in 1981. After two years in general and government practice he returned to complete a further three years of study to gain his specialist qualifications. He then spent 20 years working in Brisbane then headed north to Noosa in 2011.
Glenn has served on various state and national orthodontic committees and has been president of the Queensland branch of the Australian Society of Orthodontists. Until 2016, Glenn was an honorary clinical demonstrator at the Orthodontic Department of the University of Queensland where he mentored many of our current crop of young orthodontists.
Outside of Orthodontics, Glenn has gone from water sports and seaside living to pottering in his garden and motoring around the Sunshine Coast in old VW’s, enjoying a more rural lifestyle in the hills behind Coolum.
