Dr Nirmal Singh began her career working as a general dentist having completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Malaya in 2002.
After 3.5 years of general practice Dr Nirmal Singh furthered her studies and obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Clinical Sciences (distinction) from the University of London in 2006. That same year she was also awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Over the years Dr Nirmal Singh developed a love for orthodontics and spent 3 years at the Eastman Dental Institute (University of London) completing her Master of Science in Orthodontics, graduating in 2008. The following year she also gained Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Dr Nirmal Singh also went on to win a number of awards during her time in London including, first prize for Functional Appliances Study Day Quiz in 2007 and Best Clinical Pearl at the Training Grades Group Meeting of the British Orthodontic Society in 2009. Pursuing her passion for the field of orthodontics, Dr Nirmal Singh is embarking on a part-time Masters in Lingual Orthodontics at the University of Hannover in Germany. Away from the practice, Dr Nirmal Singh spends her free time practising yoga and running.
