Dr Stanton, having grown up in Adelaide, graduated from Adelaide University with his BDS (Dental) Degree in 1979. He served in the RAAF as a Dental Officer from 1980 to 1993, enjoying postings in many parts of Australia and in Malaysia.
After leaving the RAAF, he completed his Specialist Orthodontic Training at the University of Sydney, gaining his Masters in Dental Science (Orthodontics) in 1995. Dr Stanton is a Specialist Dental Officer for the RAAF Reserve.
Dr Stanton is a keen bushwalker and an active sportsman, particularly enjoying long distance running where he can sing all the One Direction songs his girls have taught him.
Dr Ton was born and raised in Brisbane and graduated with honours from the University of Queensland’s Dental School in 2000. She practiced in Sydney for several years, before returning to Brisbane to continue her study.Dr Ton completed her Masters Degree in Orthodontics at the University of Queensland in 2006 and also attained her Membership in Orthodontics, with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in the same year.
Dr Ton her husband and their two little girls enjoy all the North Queensland lifestyle has to offer and she is keen to upgrade her amateur fisherman status when the children are less dependent!. Aside from fishing, she enjoys entertaining friends, reading, spending time with her family and her dogs and watching her beloved Brisbane Broncos.

- Clinical Academic in Orthodontics at the University of Queensland
Desmond Ong is a Clinical Academic in the Discipline of Orthodontics at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry. Desmond has previously coordinated the Undergraduate Orthodontic Program and is currently a Visiting Specialist and Lecturer for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Orthodontic Programs. Desmond is now in full-time specialist orthodontic private practice in Townsville and is an active presenter with the Australian Dental Association's Continuing Professional Development Program. He is also a past winner of the Young Lecturer Award from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Dr Hanrahan graduated from the University of Queensland Dental School in 1975 and then studied at the Royal College of Surgeons, London before completing a Masters Degree in Orthodontics at the University of Queensland in 1980.
Dr Hanrahan has lived in Townsville since 1980. His interests include cinema, travel and most racquet sports, especially tennis. He is actively involved with the Cathedral School P & F Association and acts as a Consultant to the Armed Forces and assists on the Army Area Health Board.
