Dr Antoniou completed his undergraduate training in 1994 at the University of Sydney and gained fellowship into the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1999. He then completed his specialist training in orthodontics in 2002 at the University of Western Australia, gaining the degree of Master of Dental Science.
In 2006 he commenced teaching of post-graduate students at the University of Sydney as an Honorary Associate. In 2008 he was appointed Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He was then awarded membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2008 (Orthodontics).
He maintains a specialist orthodontic practice in the Southern Sydney suburbs of Miranda, Hurstville and Engadine, in addition to rooms in Dubbo.
Dr Anroniou has also acted as an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and conducted peer review for the Australasian Orthodontic Board. In addition to this, he has been a member of the committee charged with selecting candidates for specialist training in Orthodontics at the University of Sydney.
His main professional interests include aesthetic treatment modalities, orthopaedic/orthodontic therapy, growth modification treatment , Invisalign treatment and surgical orthodontics.
In his spare time, he and his wife chase after their three young boys.
Dr Dineen graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Sydney and commenced dental practice at Hurstville in 1980.
In 1988 he completed the Master of Dental Science post-graduate Orthodontic degree and has since practiced as a specialist orthodontist, initially at Macquarie Street, Sydney and Maroubra before settling into his current locations at Miranda, Hurstville, Engadine and Dubbo from 1990. He has been made a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honour dental organisation.
Since 1994 Dr Dineen has been teaching part-time at the University of Sydney MDSc Post-graduate Orthodontic Program, currently as Senior Clinical Associate. He also lectures to post-graduate orthodontic students from Australia and New Zealand.
His special interests within the orthodontic profession include orthopaedic skeletal correction, self-ligating fixed appliances (Damon System), Cone Beam CT imaging, temporary implant anchorage, non-extraction orthodontic treatment, lingual braces, Invisalign and TMJ (jaw joint) problems.
