Dr Linda Curl BDS, BSc (Dent)(Hons), DClinDent (Orthodontics) (Adel), MOrth (RCSEd), MRACDS (Orth), MRSM (UK)

In 2011 Linda joined Smart Orthodontics and subsequently became a partner in the practice. Graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2004 with both a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a First Class in her Honours Degree of Bachelor of Science in Dentistry, Linda was also awarded the prestigious Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons Prize. Linda went on to do her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics and is a member of both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgery.

Linda is passionate about being at the cutting edge of modern orthodontic research, and being involved in dental education. With three papers published in the Australian Orthodontic Journal, Linda has also presented research at both the Australian Orthodontic Congress and the World Federation of Orthodontists. Linda is involved in both teaching and assessing dental students at the University of Adelaide.

Linda is a highly dedicated and active member of the Orthodontic community, whose experience and expertise ensures the highest quality treatment.

Dr Richard Salmon BDS(Otago, NZ) DClinDent (Orthodontics) (Adel)

Richard joined Smart Orthodontics in 2001 after completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Otago, New Zealand and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry from the University of Adelaide. Since then he has been an active member of the orthodontic community, serving as a council member for several years and then as President of the South Australian Branch of the Australian Society of Orthodontists in 2007-2008.

Since 2003 Richard has served as a Consultant Orthodontist to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Australian Craniofacial Unit where he regularly works with patients with complex medical conditions, craniofacial disorders and cleft lips and palates. He has presented at both Orthodontic and Craniofacial Conferences on this subject and is involved in the education and teaching of post-graduate students from the University of Adelaide

With his wide range of experience and active involvement in both the orthodontic and craniofacial community, Richard strives to provide his patients with the best possible care.
