Dr Pepicelli received his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne in 1994. Following this, he worked as a general dentist in Melbourne prior to undertaking specialist orthodontic training at the University of Melbourne. He attained his Graduate Diploma and Master’s Degree in Orthodontics in 2003.

Dr Pepicelli received numerous awards for scholastic excellence throughout his undergraduate degree. In 2000, he achieved the best results in the primary examinations for fellowship of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Australasia and was consequently awarded the prestigious F.G. Christensen Memorial Prize.

In 2004, Dr Pepicelli was granted the Diploma of Membership in Orthodontics, from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, after passing the necessary examination.

Dr Pepicelli has been working in private specialist orthodontic practice since 2004. He takes immense pride in his work and enjoys observing the positive functional and aesthetic effects that orthodontic treatment provides to patients in his care.

In order to keep up to date with the latest technological advances and materials, Dr Pepicelli regularly attends local professional association meetings as well as local and international conferences. His passion and enthusiasm for orthodontics is further demonstrated by the position he holds as Senior Lecturer in Orthodontics at the University of Melbourne, allowing him to be intimately involved in the training of the next generation of orthodontists.

Dr Pepicelli has published a paper in American orthodontic literature and lectured extensively on various orthodontic topics to dental students, general dentists and allied health professionals.

He spends much of his spare time with his wife and enjoys playing golf, reading and travelling. He has a keen interest in art, exploring the wine regions of Australia and is an avid supporter of the Collingwood Football Club.

Dr Sable gained his specialist qualification from the University of Melbourne with a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics in 2002. He attained his Bachelor of Dental Science, also from Melbourne University, in 1995 and prior to that completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 1989.

Dr Sable says some of the more rewarding aspects of being an orthodontist include forming long-term relationships with his patients and seeing the wonderful aesthetic and functional results that orthodontic treatment provides. “It is very satisfying when the pieces of the puzzle come together, particularly seeing the great smile on the patient’s face at the end of treatment.”

His passion for orthodontics has extended into teaching; in addition to presenting lectures to dentists and dental students several times a year, Daniel has been appointed as a Clinical Demonstrator for the Postgraduate Orthodontic Programme at the University of Melbourne. He has also made presentations to the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Orthodontists and in 2002 won the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Young Lecturer’s Award. He regularly attends local and international orthodontic meetings and conferences in order to keep abreast of the latest developments in orthodontic technology and materials. His philosophy is to constantly evolve whilst staying true to the basic principles of sound diagnosis and treatment.

Dr Sable has published papers in eminent scientific journals including the Australian Dental Journal, the Angle Orthodontist and the Annals of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Outside of work hours he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His hobbies include traveling, cycling and running. He also has a keen interest in art, architecture and design.
