Dr Wholley is dedicated to providing excellent orthodontic care. After graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia, Dr Wholley worked as a general dentist in the southwest for 8 years, including 4 years in his own practice. This background proves useful when orthodontic treatment needs to be coordinated with treatment by dentists and other specialists.

Dr Wholley qualified as an Orthodontist in 2001, after completing the 3 year specialist orthodontic program at the University of Melbourne. Having obtained a Masters in Dental Science (Orthodontics) and a Graduate Diploma in Dentofacial Orthopaedics, he commenced his specialist practice at Profile Orthodontics.

Since 2007, Dr Wholley has also been a Consultant at the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, working in the Cleft Lip Palate Unit and the Craniofacial Unit.

Dr Wholley is the first orthodontist in WA to be actively involved in the “Perth Face Space Project” and associated research using 3D technologies. He has lectured at state, national and international level, and has published research articles in Australian and international journals.

Dr Shiva Senathirajah is a Perth local who graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Dental degree with Honours, and then completed 3 years at The University of Melbourne to gain her qualifications as a Specialist Orthodontist. Before commencing her Specialist Orthodontic training, Shiva worked as a general dentist in a Perth private practice for 6 years.

In addition to providing the highest standard of orthodontic care for patients, Shiva has an interest in orthodontic clinical research and has presented her research nationally at the Australian Society of Orthodontists Foundation Meeting and internationally at the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Sessions and the European Orthodontic Society Congress.

Shiva participated in the Charley Schultz Resident Scholar Award programme in the USA and was also awarded first prize for the TP Postgraduate Clinical Award. She is certified with the Australasian Orthodontic Board and holds membership with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

In her spare time Shiva likes baking, practicing yoga, taking in the natural beauty of Perth on long walks and exploring different cultures through food, music and travel.

Shiva loves being an orthodontist and feels it is a privilege to work together with patients to transform their smiles, which can be enjoyed for the rest of their lives.
