Jenkin was accepted with a Melbourne National Scholarship to study Dentistry at the University of Melbourne, graduating with Honours in 2006. He then returned to Sydney and worked as a full-time private dentist for five years at multiple localities providing care to patients from all walks of life. Jenkin completed his specialist degree in Orthodontics at the University of Sydney. During this time, he was invited to present his research thesis to an esteemed audience at the 90th Congress of the European Orthodontic Society in Warsaw, Poland. With the same thesis, he also received the prestigious Elsdon Storey Research Award from the Australian Society of Orthodontists for the most meritorious student research paper in the country. His training has equipped him with the knowledge and the techniques to manage orthodontic problems for children, teenagers and adults in the most efficient and simplest ways chosen to suit their lifestyles. Jenkin is meticulous, has an eye for detail, and always strives to achieve the best for all his patients. He has developed a specific skill set and passion in providing aesthetic, clear and invisible treatments for his patients, young and old.
Jenkin holds both a Fellowship (General Dental Practice) and a Membership (Specialist Dental Practice in Orthodontics) with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) by examination. He is also an active member of local and international societies, including the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO), the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) and the Manly Warringah Dental Study Group (MWDSG). Jenkin enjoys the simpler things in life and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He takes an interest in playing tennis, football (soccer), tabletop miniature war-gaming and improving his golf.
