Dr Dyett was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and moved to London to begin her career as a dentist. After completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at the University of London with Honours in 2006, she moved to Perth to begin her career as a dentist.
Dr Dyett has completed research evaluating the impact of orthodontic tooth movement on surrounding tissues, and also on the use of 3-Dimensional scanning methods to assess facial asymmetry. Her research has been presented to fellow clinicians, and has been accepted for publication in the American Journal, Progress in Orthodontics.
Dr Dyett worked for three years as a dentist in private practice, and with the government dental health service. While working full-time she completed a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (BSc Dent) with Honours at the University of Western Australia. In 2010 she commenced a full-time three year Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics (DClinDent) at the University of Western Australia.
Dr Dyett is trained to use a number of functional appliances, both removable and fixed. She is skilled in implants to assist tooth movement, Invisalign, self-ligating brackets and complex surgical orthodontic cases.
Outside of work you will find her at the gym, cycling, rock climbing, cooking or spending time with family and friends.
Dr Hall studied for her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.Ch.D.) in Leeds, UK 1983 -1987. After working in Oral Surgery for two years she studied at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London and gained her Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 1990, her Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of London in 1992, and her Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1993.
After working at Newcastle Dental Hospital, UK, she came to Western Australia in 1996 and worked at the Perth Dental Hospital.
Dr Hall and Dr Owen set up Mount Lawley Orthodontics in 2000, and Dr Hall became practice principal in 2010. She also works as an associate in Midland.
Mosman Park Orthodontics was established on Glyde Street, Mosman Park by Dr Wilson in November 2001. We have built up a great team of staff and a reputation we are proud of by blending state-of-the-art orthodontic technology with a friendly caring atmosphere.
Dr Wilson completed her Bachelor in Dental Science at UWA in 1991. She worked in private practice in Perth before leaving for Dubai in 1993. After five years as a general dental practitioner, she commenced her specialist training at the Eastman Dental Institute in London, UK, completing the Master of Science in Orthodontics (University of London) and Memberships in Orthodontics at both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh. She then completed a year in specialist practice in St. John’s Wood, London before returning to Western Australia and registering as an Orthodontist in October 2000.
Dr. Hui Lau is a registered specialist orthodontist. Hui was accepted at the University of Melbourne with a scholarship to study Bachelor of Dental Science, graduating with Honours in 2007. After graduation, she spent four years working at multiple private practices and government dental health services in Melbourne, providing care to patients from all walks of life.
Hui then moved to Perth to commence a three-year full-time specialty training and obtained her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) from the University of Western Australia. She also completed her research evaluating the impact of growth and orthodontic treatment on the lips.
Hui specialises in child and adult orthodontics including Invisalign, functional appliances, skeletal anchorage assisted orthodontics and surgical orthodontic cases. She is dedicated to deliver excellent care and consistently strives to achieve best treatment outcome for all of her orthodontic patients.
Hui is registered as an Orthodontic Specialist with the Dental Board of Australia and is certified by the Australasian Orthodontic Board. She is also an active member of local and international societies, including the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists and Australian and New Zealand Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently the Recent Graduate Representative for the Australian Society of Orthodontists (Western Australia branch).
