Dr Ratneser had a strong desire to work in health, which led him to study dentistry at the University of Adelaide. He completed his dentistry degree in 1998. After a brief stint working as a dentist in Perth he caught the travel bug and moved to the UK to work in private practice with an emphasis on children's dentistry.

In 2007 Sanj returned to Australia to undertake specialist training in Orthodontics at the University of Melbourne. He was awarded the 2010 John McDonald award by the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. This is one of the world's most prestigious awards in orthodontics.

He was also awarded the 2010 Elsdon Storey research award by the Australian Society of Orthodontists for his research on dental decay around braces.

When not busily straightening teeth Dr Ratneser is a big fan of all things beach. He is an avid diver, golfer, snow boarder and cricketer.

Dr Shiva Senathirajah is a Perth local who graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Dental degree with Honours, and then completed 3 years at The University of Melbourne to gain her qualifications as a Specialist Orthodontist. Before commencing her Specialist Orthodontic training, Shiva worked as a general dentist in a Perth private practice for 6 years.

In addition to providing the highest standard of orthodontic care for patients, Shiva has an interest in orthodontic clinical research and has presented her research nationally at the Australian Society of Orthodontists Foundation Meeting and internationally at the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Sessions and the European Orthodontic Society Congress.

Shiva participated in the Charley Schultz Resident Scholar Award programme in the USA and was also awarded first prize for the TP Postgraduate Clinical Award.
