Charlotte qualified with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery from the University of Manchester in 2000. Over the next 3 years she worked in a variety of posts in general dental practice, maxillofacial surgery departments and dental hospital gaining knowledge and experience in all aspects of dentistry. During this time she achieved her Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians (MFDS).
Following this success she made the decision to specialise in the discipline of Orthodontics. She was accepted onto a full time, 3 year, postgraduate training programme at The University of Leeds and graduated with Masters in Dental Science. She was also awarded the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons (London) and was awarded a prize from the British Orthodontic Society for best treated exam cases.
Charlotte has been working in Orthodontics for many years now and continues to feel excited every day about the job. She finds tremendous job satisfaction seeing smiles transform and people’s self-esteem increase dramatically. She enjoys being able to treat patients of all ages and tailoring their treatment in order to deliver outstanding results and meet their expectations. She frequently attends courses and conferences to stay up-to-date with the current research and treatment modalities.
Charlotte grew up in a small seaside town of St Annes on the North West Coast of England. She relocated to Australia in 2007 and settled on the Gold Coast in 2012. She is the mother of 2 young girls and has a busy family life outside of the practice. She also enjoys keeping as fit as possible and enjoys the beautiful hinterland and the beaches. She is registered with AHPRA as a Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentistry, and is a member of the Australian Dental Association and British Orthodontic Society.
