Attractive Orthodontics: Hinchinbrook

Having completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours at the University of Sydney, Dr Tan has worked in both in private practice and as a Senior Dental Officer at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health (Metropolitan and Rural Clinics) for a number of years before completing his Masters in Dental Science (Orthodontics) at the University of Sydney.

He has also completed the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry Accreditation, and has become a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Orthodontics), Member of the Australian Dental Association and a Member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists. Dr Tan has held previous memberships with a number of dental affiliated groups. He has been involved in the education of undergraduate students, both for clinical dentistry and also the undergraduate orthodontic program and provides seminars to General Dental Practitioners.

He has vast experience in straight-wire (conventional and self-ligation), lingual orthodontics, sequential clear aligners (“Invisalign”), dentofacial orthopaedics and interdisciplinary management (restorative and orthognathics) as well as been trained in the latest advancements in orthodontics, attaining accreditation in the use of mini-screws and customisable conventional and lingual orthodontics.

Daniel completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours at the University of Sydney (2004), and has worked in both in Public and Private practice for over 8 years before deciding to complete his Doctor in Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) at the University of Sydney (2012).

He is a Fellow and Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Orthodontics) and Member of the Australian Dental Association.
