Dr Yul Kim

Dr. Yul, originally trained as a computer engineer, honed his skills in the software engineering industry in New Zealand for several years. However, his passion for direct interaction with people and hands-on work steered him towards dentistry as a new career path. Graduating with first-class honors from Griffith University, he began his journey as a general dentist, serving communities in both rural and metropolitan Australia. It was during this time that his keen interest in orthodontics blossomed.

Driven to specialise, Dr. Yul dedicated three additional years to post-graduate studies at The University of Adelaide, solidifying his expertise as an orthodontist. Since completing his specialist training, he has contributed his skills as a senior orthodontist at Adelaide Dental Hospital and various private clinics across Adelaide. After twelve years of moving across Australia, Dr. Yul has now chosen to settle in the picturesque Canberra, finally finding a place to call home.

Passionate about leveraging the latest digital technology to craft flawless smiles, Dr. Yul actively participates in national and international conferences to stay at the forefront of orthodontic advancements. Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds joy in working on small software projects, photography, and playing musical instruments like the guitar and piano.
