Chen is an AHPRA registered
specialist orthodontist and ASO member
Dr Chen is originally from Brisbane and graduated from the University of Adelaide dental school in 2003. He practiced for numerous years as a general dentist in both the private and public sector before returning to the University of Adelaide for further studies, completing his Honours research degree with first class honours in 2008. He then completed his specialisation in orthodontics.
Dr Chen regularly attends meetings, courses and conferences (local and international) to ensure he is up to date with the latest technologies and breakthroughs.
Aside from straightening teeth, Dr Chen is also good at burning his cooking although this does not seem to stop him! He also enjoys bushwalking, tennis and reading a good book.
However, since the birth of his two children, you’ll mainly find him in the supermarket looking lost or acting as a chauffeur to his children’s busy lifestyles.
