Kat is an AHPRA registered
specialist orthodontist and ASO member
Dr Kat decided that she wanted to be orthodontist after going through orthodontic treatment as a teenager to correct her crooked teeth. After graduating from Dentistry from the University of Adelaide in 1995, she worked as a general dentist for two years. She was immediately accepted into the Orthodontic Specialist Training programme in 1998 and completed her training in 2000. She has operated in private orthodontic practices since completing her training.
Dr Kat has been involved in teaching orthodontics to undergraduate dental students and to hygiene students at TAFE. She recently stopped teaching to concentrate on her other career, being a Mum.
Dr Kat enjoys working with children and adults of all ages and finds great satisfaction in seeing how much more confident her patients are at the end of treatment.
