Dr Peter
McMahon is an AHPRA registered
specialist orthodontist and ASO member
Dr McMahon graduated from University of Queensland 1978 (B.D.Sc.) and upon completion worked in Mt Isa and North West Qld (Boulia, Camooweal, Burketown and Mornington Island.) He worked in the School Dental Service at Albany Creek and Strathpine in 1981 before completing his Master’s degree in Orthodontics in Melbourne.
Dr McMahon worked as an orthodontist at the Children’s Dental Hospital until 1991 when he commenced his orthodontic practice in Albany Creek with the Strathpine practice opening in 1995. He has continued to provide for treatment eligible patients in the hospital system since graduation.
Dr McMahon is married and has two grown children, one is an Optometrist and the other is studying Dentistry. He even has a nice dog.
