Dr Lewis grew up in Wahroonga and attended St Aloysius' College. He then went on to the University of Sydney and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. This was followed by more than ten years in general dentistry in rural Australia and overseas.
Dr Lewis returned to the University of Sydney to follow his dream and achieve his specialist qualifications. Immediately after graduating, he joined North Shore Orthodontics as a partner.
He is committed to orthodontic excellence - not only in his practices but within the profession - and continued to teach in the specialist orthodontic program for more than a decade before becoming an accreditor of specialists training programs. He has held many professional positions and is currently the Vice President of the Australian Society of Orthodontics.
Dr Lewis enjoys travel to unusual destinations as well as snow skiing and hiking. His family runs a small rural cattle property as a diversion to clinical practice and city life.
