Dr Michael
Bowes is an AHPRA registered
specialist orthodontist and ASO member
I grew up on the north side of Brisbane and went to the University of Queensland, where I completed a Biomedical Science Degree. I then moved to Sydney, where I graduated Dentistry with Honours from the University of Sydney in 2005. I spent a year in Oral and Reconstructive surgery at a Maxillofacial Hospital in the United Kingdom. My orthodontics degree was attained at the University of Queensland.
I am an active member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO) and I am an Australian Orthodontic Board (AOB) certified orthodontist. I am a certified Invisalign Provider and I have lectured at the University in the Undergraduate Dental Program. I regularly attend continuing education courses to keep abreast of new advances in orthodontic technology.
When I’m not spending time with my wife and young sons, I enjoy surfing and bushwalking. My major passion is travelling and I have been fortunate to visit many different places in Australia and around the World.
