Ch'ng is an AHPRA registered
specialist orthodontist and ASO member
Josh was born and raised in Melbourne. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Melbourne in 2013. He gained fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2017 and was awarded the Kenneth Sutherland prize. Josh returned to the University of Melbourne to undertake specialisation in the field of orthodontics in 2018. During his training, he travelled to Michigan to work on a collaborative research project with the Dental and Craniofacial Bionetwork for Image Analysis (DCBIA) in the area of 3D image analysis. He has since presented his research findings at conferences organised by the Australian Society of Orthodontists and the European Orthodontic Society. Josh has an interest in clear aligner therapy and interdisciplinary treatment.
Josh believes in the importance of taking the time to listen, throughly discussing all treatment options and helping patients to find an option that is right for them. He takes pride in his work, and is committed to using the latest innovations and treatment approaches to help patients to achieve their best smile. Outside of orthodontics, Josh enjoys café hopping, keeping fit, playing keyboard in his local church band and playing tennis with friends.
