Dr Medland is an advocate for continuous learning and staying at the forefront of orthodontic advancements. He is an expert in modern orthodontic treatments like Invisalign and SureSmile, and has access to the latest technologies guaranteeing you receive the best results possible.

Dr Medland grew up in Queensland and graduated from the University of Queensland Dental School. He then set his sights on one of the world’s top orthodontic and functional jaw orthopaedic centres, the University of North Carolina, where he was accepted as the first non-American student. After training concluded, Dr Medland completed a two year research fellowship before returning to Australia to practice with his lovely wife, Dr Patty Medland.

Known as ‘the’ orthodontist on the Gold Coast, Dr Bill Medland also lectures for Invisalign hosting webcasts for dental industry professionals. He is a trusted source of information on a variety of orthodontic topics and enjoys sharing his knowledge with peers and patients. Adding to his accolades, he was also one of the first local orthodontists to use lingual (inside) braces.
