Dr Andrew
Chang is an AHPRA registered
specialist orthodontist and ASO member
Dr Chang received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree with honours from Sydney University in 1999 and had a successful dental practice in Canberra for 6 years. Dr Chang then pursued his orthodontic training in Adelaide, where he received his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics from the University of Adelaide, and was granted membership of the Royal Australasian college of Dental Surgeons and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the specialised field of orthodontics in 2008.
Dr Chang has experience in the orthodontic treatment of both children and adults of all ages. He has actively participated in ongoing continuing education in all aspects of advanced orthodontics, including the latest techniques and technology of braces, Invisalign and hidden braces. He also presents regularly to groups of local dentists to promote awareness in varying areas of orthodontics. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Dr Chang is passionate about creating beautiful smiles and giving his patients the confidence of a straight and healthy smile. As a parent of two growing children, Dr Chang believes a positive, encouraging practice environment where children, teenagers and young adults undertake their teeth straightening experience, also plays an important role in the character development of these individuals.
Dr Chang is active in providing dental education for the surrounding dental surgeries, organising lectures and discussions with the local dentists.
