Dr Alistair
King is an AHPRA registered
specialist orthodontist and ASO member
Dr King lived his childhood on the beautiful Central Coast, moved away to complete his extensive dentistry studies at the University Of Sydney and graduated with honours. During his final year of dental training, he met fellow student and future wife Ainsley. They moved back to the Central Coast to work as general dentists and Alistair began his long-time association with practitioners Bill Weekes and Peter Woodward (now known as Central Coast Orthodontics).
His early interest in orthodontics led him to pursue further research and complete a Post-Grad Doctorate through the University of Sydney. He was awarded Membership into the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the specialist orthodontic stream and his research on root resorption was published in an international journal.
Dr King is thrilled to be part of a practice knowing it has built and maintained such a strong reputation in the local community through a commitment to excellence in service and skill. He enjoys his work immensely and gets great satisfaction from the positive changes skilled orthodontists can make to people’s lives.
